From Research to Publication: An Action-Oriented Writing Workshop

Successfully writing for publication requires special focus with an emphasis on organization. Whether you’re looking to disseminate new research or to turn oral or poster presentations into articles, this workshop will provide the roadmap for getting your manuscript published.

Susan Gennaro and Bernadette Melnyk

Susan Gennaro, PhD, RN, FAAN
Susan Gennaro, PhD, RN, FAAN, is Professor at Boston College’s Connell School of Nursing and editor of the Sigma’s flagship Journal of Nursing Scholarship. Her research focuses on improving perinatal health globally, with studies in the U.S., Malawi, and Uganda. A Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing, she has served on national advisory councils for NINR and the March of Dimes. Dr. Gennaro founded the EBP program at the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses, where she was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for her outstanding contributions to maternal and child health.
Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, PhD, APRN-CNP, EBP-C, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN
Bernadette Melnyk, PhD, APRN-CNP, EBP-C, FAANP, FNAP, FAAN, is an inspirational speaker, author, entrepreneur, and expert in evidence-based practice, mental health and wellness, and organizational culture change. She is editor-in-chief of Sigma’s top-ranked journal Worldviews on Evidence-Based Nursing, founder of COPE2Thrive and EBPSolutions, and served as Chief Wellness Officer and Dean at The Ohio State University. A fellow of multiple national academies, she has led major initiatives to improve clinician well-being and academic health. Her leadership has advanced nursing research, practice, and culture change across institutions.
