I am honored to seek re-election as Regional Coordinator for North America-Region 15, building upon our transformative progress this biennium.
Professional Background:
With dual master's degrees in Nursing (Clinical Nurse Leader) and Public Health, I bring clinical expertise and population health perspective to regional leadership. Currently serving as Staff Nurse II in Hematology/Oncology at UVM Medical Center and Associate Clinical Professor at Vermont State University, I maintain active engagement in practice and education. My leadership extends to emergency services as EMT and Medical Reserve Corps Coordinator, plus elected service as Justice of the Peace.
Key Achievements as Regional Coordinator:
1. I've transformed our annual Region 15 Research Symposium from 16-20 abstracts to over 65 this year, implementing streamlined processes that enhance organization and accessibility.
2. Through strategic sponsorship development, we've made the symposium affordable for all members while enabling students to attend free, removing financial barriers.
3. I've built meaningful relationships across chapters through personal visits and keynote presentations at induction ceremonies, strengthening our regional community and supporting local leadership.
4. Most significantly, I developed our first Region 15 awards ceremony as a pre-symposium event, creating an accessible platform to celebrate member achievements. Unlike biennial conventions that may be geographically or financially prohibitive, this regional recognition ensures broader participation.

My priorities include:
Sustainability & Growth: Further streamlining symposium processes for long-term sustainability while expanding participation.
Succession Planning: Implementing comprehensive mentorship for future regional leadership, involving the region in identifying candidates for 2027-2029.
Enhanced Engagement: Expanding chapter support and collaboration opportunities across our diverse region.
Innovation in Recognition: Evolving our awards program while maintaining accessibility and regional focus.
