Session One Poster Setup: Friday, 18 July 2025 | 8:15-8:45 a.m. (0815-0845)
Session Two Poster Setup: Saturday, 19 July 2025 | 8:30-9:00 a.m. (0830-0900)
On-site location: Elwha and Quinault
Volunteers assist presenters in locating their assigned poster panel and provide materials for mounting if needed. Each panel accommodates one poster for optimal viewing.
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Maintain a helpful and welcoming attitude while interacting with attendees from around the world.
- Multitask and address large groups effectively.
- Stand for extended periods.
- Lift 10+ pounds.
- Be present for the entire poster set-up session
- Must be a paid registered attendee to volunteer.
Sigma staff will provide a process overview and a poster area layout before the shift. To better support attendees, we recommend that you review event materials and the daily schedule.
Volunteers do not receive registration discounts, travel reimbursements, or lodging considerations.

Each day at the Sigma Marketplace, enthusiastic volunteers help attendees find the perfect merchandise, process orders, and keep the space looking great while shoppers explore all the Marketplace has to offer. Volunteers will need to be able to stand for periods of time and lift items (10 pounds or more).

Congress 2025 In-Person Moderators (17-20 July 2025)
Sigma is recruiting moderators to assist with moderating sessions during Congress 2025, held 17-20 July 2025, in Seattle, Washington, USA.
In-person moderator responsibilities include:
- View a brief moderator tutorial video prior to or during the event on the Sigma Event App.
- Arrive in the session room at least 10 minutes before the start of the session.
- Review required information with presenters.
- Introduce the presenters.
- Monitor the room.
- Facilitate the question-and-answer dialogue between the audience and presenters.
- Complete a short electronic Moderator Report Form for feedback and evaluation of the session.
- Obtain signatures electronically of each presenter who was present at the session.
- Must have a personal device (phone or tablet) that has the capability to scan a QR Code
- Must be able to complete and sign an electronic form independently as there will be no moderator binders at Congress 2025.
- Moderators must be paid registered event attendees to volunteer.
Individuals will be limited to three (3) sessions to moderate.
No special accommodations, discounts, or considerations regarding registration fees, travel expenses, or lodging are available for moderators.
