LEADERSHIP EDUCATION GRANT INFORMATION

Grant opportunities are available through the Sigma Foundation for Nursing to assist in offsetting the cost of attending the 35th International Nursing Research Congress in person from 25-28 July 2024 in Singapore.

Recipient Requirements

The recipient of a grant below will be responsible for paying all fees associated with attending congress and must register by the early registration deadline. The recipient will be reimbursed up to the amount of the grant award via US check or wire upon arrival at the Foundation Tea. Date and time will be announced in the award letter. Attendance at the Foundation Tea is mandatory.

Edith Anderson Leadership Education Grant
Dr. Doris J. Froebe Leadership Education Grant

Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a current Sigma member.
  • The applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • The applicant must be attending the entire event (25-28 July 2024).

Dr. Constance M. Baker Leadership Education Grant

Recipient(s) will be given the grant at the Foundation Tea at congress.

Criteria:

  • The applicant must be a current Sigma member in Africa.
  • The applicant must be presenting their accepted research (podium or poster) in person.
  • The applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • The applicant must be attending the entire event (25-28 July 2024).

Delta Theta Leadership Education Grant

Criteria:

  • Current Sigma member living in a middle- or low-income country (as defined by the World Bank Classifications).
  • The applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • The applicant must be attending the entire event (25-28 July 2024).

Omicron Delta Leadership Education Grant

Criteria:

  • Current Sigma member living in a middle- or low-income country (as defined by the World Bank Classifications).
  • The applicant must find it difficult, if not impossible, to attend congress without financial support.
  • The applicant must be attending the entire event (25-28 July 2024).

*Please note: Due to limited funds available, for all grants offered, except where noted, preference is given to applicants whose abstracts or posters have been accepted for presentation. Applications that do not meet the criteria listed above will not be reviewed for these grants and no additional correspondence will be sent.
