Nominate an academic setting or clinical facility for Sigma’s new Healthy Work Environment Awards

Honorees Recognized at February 2019 Creating Healthy Work Environments Conference

 INDIANAPOLIS — Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) is seeking nominations for the Healthy Work Environment Awards, a new set of awards that honor clinical facilities and academic settings that have demonstrated commitment in promoting a healthy work environment and excellence in healthcare outcomes. These distinguished awards will be presented at Sigma’s Creating Healthy Work Environment conference, to be held 22-24 February 2019 in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA.

About the Academic Healthy Work Environment Award

  • Purpose: Recognizes and honors an academic setting that demonstrates commitment in promoting a healthy work environment and excellence in faculty and student outcomes.
  • Eligibility: Any health system or clinical facility is eligible to apply for and receive this award. Sigma membership is not required.

About the Clinical Healthy Work Environment Award

  • Purpose: Recognizes and honors a clinical facility that demonstrates commitment in promoting a healthy work environment and excellence in healthcare outcomes.
  • Eligibility: Any academic institution or institution of higher learning is eligible to apply for and receive this award. Sigma membership is not required.

Award nominations will be accepted until 18 July 2018.
