Have you considered applying to become an American Academy of Nursing fellow?

Fellowship is bestowed in recognition of your expertise and in expectation that your expertise will enhance that of other fellows to advance health policy and practice. Each year a new talented cohort of nurse leaders become fellows, signaling their commitment to contribute to improving the health of the nation and making nursing’s contributions more visible.

As an Academy fellow, you will be able to use the professional designation, FAAN, and be recognized as having met the stringent qualifications necessary to be selected by your peers as one of nursing's most accomplished leaders. You will be in position to take advantage of the Academy’s leadership development and networking opportunities. But equally as important, you will apply your knowledge and leadership skills toward the Academy’s initiatives to advance health policy, practice and science.

The 2018 application will be available later this summer. Get started by clicking here: http://www.aannet.org/about/fellowship-application.
