Submission Steps for Presenters from Participating Non-Sigma Event Hosts
You are 2 steps away from sharing your knowledge with the world!
-
If you have not already done so, complete the Permission Form first!
-
Upon completion of the Permission Form, you will receive a separate confirmation email containing a link to this page.
-
Bookmark this page so that you may reference it as needed.
-
Take the time to read all of the information below.
Step 1. Registration
Register using the email you supplied in the Permission Form. Failure to do so will delay your submission and block access to your Author Dashboard.
-
Registration Part 1 - Begin the registration process by clicking here. Alternatively, you may click on the My Account option located in the top right-hand corner of the Sigma Repository homepage and select Sign Up under Create New Account.
-
Registration Part 2 - Upon initializing the registration process, you will receive an email from mailsystem@bepress.com. Subject line: Sigma Repository: Account Confirmation. Follow the instructions in that email to complete your account setup. If you do not receive this email, check your spam folder.
Step 2. Submission
-
Complete the submission form.
- Please use the same email that you used for account registration and the Permission Form.
*Materials must include the following file attachments:
- Poster or presentation slide file (in PDF format),
- A formal abstract with headings (250 word minimum), references, and learning outcomes (in PDF format), and
- A video/audio recording of your presentation (optional). If you choose to upload the optional video/audio file and it is too large, contact Sigma Repository staff at repository@sigmanursing.org.
Stand Alone. The poster or presentation slide deck must contain enough information to be considered more than a restatement of the abstract and must add to the scientific/clinical discourse. If a video/audio file is not uploaded, make sure that your subject knowledge is sufficiently conveyed in the text, graphs, and tables of the poster/slides.
Processing Time
-
Allow staff 30 to 90 days for processing your submission. Turnaround is usually 24 to 48 hours (excludes weekends and holidays) during off-peak periods.
-
Upon posting, you will receive an email from Sigma Repository staff with the permanent link to your item record. Share that link/email with your event host contact as evidence of your participation in the Sigma Repository.
