Transcending Global Challenges in Doctoral Nursing Education

Conference Objectives:

  • Analyze progress made over time as well as current global challenges in doctoral nursing education including issues related to social justice, diversity, inclusion, and new thought movements.
  • Explore issues facing various models of doctoral education in nursing (e.g., PhD, professional doctorates, dual degrees, etc.) including purposes, challenges, and future directions.
  • Introduce the new INDEN/Sigma Research Academy and opportunities for involvement in global nursing education through INDEN.
