The Caring International Research Collaborative (CIRC) is a collaborative effort of academic and clinical leaders as well as consultants in healthcare. Sigma CIRC brings together each group to share what is known about caring and the work environment.
Caring is intuitively sensed to be a pivotal aspect of quality care by those who provide direct patient care. Articulating this scientifically has been elusive and doing so takes systematic, rigorous and innovative research methods. Sigma CIRC has pledged to work with all disciplines in health care at an international level to undertake this challenge.
CIRC consists of several research groups, called "sharing groups" that each focus on one aspect of health care. Members of each sharing group are free to post research materials and participate in discussions in an online community platform.
Visit the CIRC Community now to find out more about the latest research being conducted in "caring."
To participate in a sharing group
All active Sigma members are eligible to join CIRC's online community.
If you are not a nurse or do not qualify for Sigma membership, a US $25 fee is required to participate. Please complete an application. Word Application PDF Application
